Description

Located directly on the Christiana River in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, the Delaware Children’s Museum is the state’s very first children’s museum. The 37,000 square-foot space – complete with seven interactive, fun and educational exhibits – is being created by a dream team of architects, construction and project managers and exhibit facilitators. As Project Manager and Owner’s Representative, NorthStar Museums, along with the Delaware Children’s Museum team, has worked diligently to bring the museum vision into reality. Exhibits include “The Power of Me,” “Bank on It” and “ECOnnect” – a sustainable home that utilizes clean energy and green technology. The museum also incorporates one-of-a-kind partnerships with local non- and for-profit communities.
